Even after Brendan Rodgers publically rebuffed any chance of Lfc signing Will Hughes from Derby the rumour mill stones keep turning.

Again this week the anfield club have been linked with a January bid for the England U21 midfield whizkid,A big club like Liverpool is always going to want top talent.

Will Hughes is one of the Championships hottest properties and DCFC have slapped a £15M price tag on his head, Derby surely would want to hold onto their prize assests as they push towards promotion, head coach Steve McClaren will not want to break up his winning side.

However the American owners of Derby County may want to cash in on the clubs young accademy product. Would they be making a big mistake by selling him? risk promotion to the Premier League?

Will Hughes is obviously a great talent and it is only a matter of time before he breaks into the England first team from the U21’S, all players want to play at the top level and im sure Hughes is no exception.

At Derby County he plays regularly , if he did move to Anfield or any other top club then he would probably not break into the 1st team for a while, which is frustrating for all players.

A lot of opinions suggest that young players need stability to grow into great players, and since the arrival of Steve McClaren at Derby Will Hughes has matured and become better and better.

He has been watched by scouts from some of the top clubs, Barcelona, Manchester united and city, Chelsea and others are all keeping an eye on this youngster. Where will he be playing his silky football come the end of the January transfer window??
