Agger to Barcelona?

Liverpool’s Daniel Agger is Barcelona’s top summer target according to reports from Spain. The Catalan giants are well known to be in the market for a centre back with Carlos Puyol and Eric Abidal entering the twilight’s of their career .

Barcelona are also rumored to be interested in Borussia Dortmund s centre back Matt Hummels but the German sides asking price is too much for the La Liga side.

Barca was interested to sign Agger last summer after Manchester City had a £20 million bid rejected .It is believed Agger will be their main summer target this time and are thought to be ready to lodge a bid for him in the coming transfer window.

The Denmark skipper is highly praised for his technical ability on the ball, something which really interest Barcelona.Agger has played a total of 250 games for the Reds scoring 16 goals.
