Zanetti wants Lavezzi at Inter
Inter Milan Captain Javier Zanetti expressed his hope of playing alongside Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi and urged his club to bring back the striker to Serie A.
Lavezzi made 19 appearances for PSG (most of them from bench this season) and has scored just two goals as he is struggling for a starting XI place alongside stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani and Lucas Moura.
He told the club’s official website: “Lavezzi? No, I haven’t heard from him.
“Would I like it if he came to Inter? I think any team would be happy to get him.”
Inter are thought to be in the market for a forward to partner Rodrigo Palacio with Diego Milito still to regain full fitness and Lavezzi will be an ideal signing due to his previous experience playing in the Seria A for Napoli.
