Sagna may leave Arsenal this Summer but will that be so bad?

Bacary Sagna Arsenal Full back

The Frenchman has been in contract talks with Arsenal for quite some time now but many are wondering whether or not the deal will be done. His contract ends in the summer and reports suggest that a trip to Italy or a return to France is on the cards for the defender. It is believed that Juventus, who has been sniffing around London for quite some time is ready to offer him a deal. Also it is rumored that Monaco is ready to bring their son of the soil back home, but is this the end of the world for Arsenal?

Apparently not according to sources in France Arsenal is in the market for a Ivory Coast defender to replace Sagna. Meet youngster Serge Aurier.

A 21 year old defender who currently plays for Toulouse. He has had a spell at Lens and has gone on to make 7 caps for Ivory Coast with his first cap earned against Gambia in 2013. Known for his pace, strength and even goal scoring ability he can certainly add more firepower to the Gunners. It remains to be seen whether or not he will be placed straight into the team or will he play second fiddle to Carl Jenkinson, the next in line to take Sagna’s position.
