Liverpool in for Benzema; ManU still have strong Finances!

Liverpool Are Launching In A Deal For Real Madrid’s Benzema

Things are going from bad to worse for Liverpool as they don’t have a good striker that is banging in goals on a regular occasion. Luis Suarez left them for Barcelona and it was up to the Liverpool boss to replace him with a world class striker. He opted for a cheap Mario Balotelli and he was called the buy of the summer. Now he is the flop of the Premier League as he hasn’t even scored once in the Premier League. Daniel Sturridge has been going through an injury phase and hasn’t had a lot of playing time this season. They are preparing a mega €63 million bid for the Real Madrid striker. They are in a real need of a good striker and hence are willing to do anything to bring him to Anfield. And reports from Spain were suggesting that Real Madrid would be more than happy to sell him if Liverpool did bid something in the region of €63 million. This could be a deal that might happen in the upcoming transfer window or in the summer. Benzema wants the club to invest in other good players and only then will he decide to join the club.

Are Man Utd Preparing To Break Yet Another Transfer Record?

Inside reports are suggesting that the club is looking to invest in other good players and they are fully backing their new manager. Ed Woodward who is the executive vice chairman of Manchester United, was asked about the budget for the transfers. He always replies that Manchester United have an unlimited budget and that they never set a budget for the manager. That means that they can spend as much as they want on players and the board won’t stop the manager. They did just that in the last summer transfer window when they spent £59.7 million on Angel di Maria and broke the British transfer record. They also paid almost £30 million for Luke Shaw who is just a teenager. The club also bought Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao for a reported £28m. They even paid £6 million for Falcao’s one year loan. Now it seems like they are about to break the world record and are willing to pay £90 million for Gareth Bale. The Welsh winger says that he is happy at Real Madrid and doesn’t wants to move elsewhere. Manchester United will try to convince the player to join them in the summer transfer window. Real Madrid were weighing up a deal for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard but now it seems like that deal won’t be happening as he is about to sign a new £200,000 a week deal.
