Arsenal reignite desire in AC Milan striker

Arsenal could boost their interest in AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang as the youngster is unsettled at the San Siro.

The Italians defeat Arsenal, among some others, to the 18-year-old’s signature in the summer of 2012, but the Frenchman has had a challenging time since.

Niang has begun just one league game this season and, due to a paperwork mistake, has been left out of Milan’s Champions League team.

Back in 2012, when Niang was planning to leave Caen, he had trials with Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton but only Arsene Wenger’s may be regarded as genuine contenders for his signature now.

Giroud could do with one more forward in the squad to share the burden of leading the line, but Wenger will face competitiveness to land Niang as Parma, Genoa and Sampdoria are all pursuing the Frenchman according to sources in Italy.
