Aguero on “Messi to City” mission;Valdes Nearing Manchester United sign up!
Sergio Aguero Will Try To Convince Lionel Messi To Join Him At Manchester City
Although all of us know that it is impossible, still we want to believe that Messi can be bought for the right transfer fee. In the past 5 years, many clubs have been bought by Billionaires and to them these big transfer fees mean nothing. Barcelona recently gave Messi a new contract and that contract said that Messi has a release clause of €250 million. Normally that amount would waive off any potential buyers. But Manchester City are backed by Arab Billionaires and they believe that if Messi wants, they can buy him to play for Manchester City. City currently has many Argentinian players likes Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta and Martin Demichelis. Even Angel di Maria wanted to join his Argentine compatriots at Manchester City before signing for the rival club last summer. Aguero recently said that he can persuade Messi into joining him at Manchester City and if he is to do that, Manchester City will have to pay €250 million to Barcelona.
Victor Valdes Is Edging Closer To Signing For Manchester United
If you look at Victor’s stats of his time in Spain, they would suggest that he was even a better goalkeeper than Iker Casillas. Victor Valdes reached at the end of his contract at Barcelona last summer and he wasn’t given a new contract. He was offered to train with Manchester United by Louis van Gaal and he now trains with them. He is getting back to his full fitness and when he does, he will be given a contract at Manchester United. Both parties are willing to work together and that means that Lindegaard that is Manchester United’s second choice goalkeeper, will have to leave the club. Many clubs believe that they can capture Lindegaard in the January transfer window. Valdes is being signed as a second choice to David de Gea. Real Madrid want to replace Iker with David de Gea and David is refusing to sign a contract extension at Old Trafford. If he decides to leave for Spain, then Victor Valdes could be made the 1st choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford. Victor Valdes is just 32 years old and that is quite young for a goalkeeper as most of the goalkeepers these days try to play till their 40’s. So if David de Gea decides to leave Old Trafford, They will be in good hands with Victor Valdes.
