Agent confirms interest Man United in Salzburg youngster
Manchester United targeted Martin Hinteregger will not abandon Red Bull Salzburg in January – but his agent confesses he could be on his way to Old Trafford at the ending of the season.
Valued at about £2m, Hinteregger has previously won two Austrian league titles and he has represented his country’s side at several youth levels.
His representative Frank Schreier believes the skilled youngster will be leaving Austria in the near future – and confesses he could be Premier League-bound.
He informed Italian website Cittaceleste: “Looking ahead to next season there is interest from several clubs in Italy and England. Thinking about this topic, his future will be in the Premier League or Serie A.”
“For the January transfer market we have totally ruled out his departure. Options? I know Manchester United, Juventus and Lazio are interested.”
