Zlatan ignites Celtic rumours

[one_fourth last=”no”]...[/one_fourth]PSG super star Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits he’s open to a move to Celtic before he retires after saying he would love to play in front of the Celtic Park faithful.

There were speculations regarding Celtic making shock  enquiry for Zlatan after knowing his love for the club, however the 32 year olds latest comments has added fuel to fire.

“I have a very important job to do in Paris, but in football I have learned that you can never say never,” he told the newspaper. “Celtic is a club with a big tradition and a place where any top player would want to end their career. How could I say I wouldn’t want to play for those fans every week?”

Celtic boss Neil Lennon said it was a huge compliment that a player of Ibrahimovic’s stature was keen to join the club.

“He’d have to play well to get in our team,” he joked. “Seriously, it would be wonderful if we could get that type of player to the club. I think that’s a long way off yet.

“It’s a nice compliment for the club, though, and it just shows the reputation we have built up over the years. That’s testament to the players’ performances over the last couple of seasons — the supporters as well and what they bring to Celtic Park on European nights. I think a lot of players and coaches would like to sample that on a regular basis.”
