Mohamed Sissoko waiting for new club
Mohamed Sissoko has exposed that he is hoping to secure a deal with a European team after departing Paris St Germain.
Sissoko discussed his release from PSG in September and has since come close to joining a couple of clubs, having trained with Reading and also had a test with Anderlecht.
The ex – Liverpool and Juventus midfielder has been maintaining himself fit and feels he still has a lot to offer at the highest level.
He informed tuttomercatoweb: “I have terminated the contract with Paris Saint Germain because I was no longer good there.
“Now I’m without a team, I live in France and I train every day with a personal trainer, waiting for a good offer.
“If there is a proposal from Europe that is my priority. I am 28 and I know I can still play in an important team.
“When I’m old, near the end of my career, I can think of going to the United Arab Emirates.”
Sissoko was loaned out to Fiorentina previous season but had trouble to make an impression.
Recalling his time in Italy, he stated: “At Fiorentina unfortunately things did not go well, but I arrived when they were doing a great championship and they had the full team.
“I have not played much but I think I played my part.”
