Dortmund Confirm Diouf Interest

Jurgen Klopp , Borussia Dortmund manager today confirmed that the club is interested in Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf and is actively searching for a replacement for striker Robert Lewandowski, who looks set to leave at the end of the current campaign.

The 25 year old has been in really good form notching up 16 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances after he joined the club from Manchester United.

“A very interesting player. We are watching and checking the market,” Jurgen Klopp said to Sky Deutschland.

The boss also admitted the clubs interest in Diouf’s strike partner Mohammed Abdellaoue.

“And we have been looking at Diouf, but also Abdellaoue but also Abdellaoue”

Abdellaoue  joined  Hannover from Valerenga and went on to score 28 goals in 72 Bundesliga matches.
